Camera Status
From time to time you may see a camera displaying a "Currently in operational use" message. This message occurs when an Agency or Force take manual control of the camera. This is to avoid images of incidents being available to the public and also to prevent identifiable marks (such as vehicle registrations) from being shown during the time of an incident. In some instances a number of cameras may be taken offline near the scene of an incident.
